About The Artist
Pennsylvania-born artist Eileen Dudley received her initial training at the Baum School of Art in Allentown. She then studied with noted watercolorist Margaret Smith Hiatt until entering the Syracuse University School of Fine Art in 1967. Most recently, Ms. Dudley has worked under the direction of JoElen Macon, a portrait artist whose work is widely known in the Southeast.
In addition to one-woman exhibits in Chicago and St. Louis, Ms. Dudley has enjoyed many awards for her work, in shows and festivals in Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. A versatile talent, she has worked as a graphic designer and teacher, with over 25 years experience teaching art to children and adults in professional galleries and in her home studio. Ms. Dudley continues to exhibit her work locally at her Twin City, Georgia studio.
